The photographs below are of just a few of the toadstools we have seen whilst we have been out walking in the Chilterns and were mostly taken in late Autumn and early Winter. We have purchased two books about idedentifying English toadstools and fungus (and also spent time searching on the web) so we will try and identify/name each species when we get more time but it is difficult since so far the descriptions and also the pictures in these books do not particularly look very much like our photos.
